7. Mary Elizabeth SHERBONDY (12A4) (This relationship of Joseph as the father of Mary Elizabeth has not been confirmed. It is possible that Mary Elizabeth is the same person as Joseph's third child, Maria Eluisa. There are some similarities ("Logan" appears as a married name of Maria Eluisa and as the middle name of Mary Elizabeth's son and second that Mary Elizabeth resided in Stephenson County IL as did Joseph Sherbondy) but not enough similarities in the birth date and name to consider it confirmed. For this reason, Mary Elizabeth appears as a separate child of Joseph so the data is clearly separate until such time as it is considered confirmed. One source which might help with this confirmation is a copy of the marriage certificate of Mary Elizabeth Sherbondy and William Andrew St. John, which the SFA needs. Another is an obituary of Mary E. St. John or a death or cemetery record for Mary E. St. John)¹⁹^,²⁰^,²¹^,²²^,²³ was born between Jul 1842 and Aug 1843 in PA (27 yrs in 1870 census).³ She married William Andrew St. John (12A3) on 20 Sep 1864 in Stephenson Co., IL.¹⁹^,²⁰^,²²^,²⁴ She died on 3 Jan 1871 in Orangeville, Stephenson, IL (died just 2 days after the birth of her son William Logan).¹⁹^,²¹
