The Gray Walls of Hell
The Legend of Jim Sherbondy, A True Story
“A boyhood in the Colorado Rockies, an unfortunate murder on Tennessee Pass, 30 years in the Colorado State Penitentiary, desperate prison breaks, brutal floggings, and a violent death… Jimmy Sherbondy’s true story”
Jimmy (James Bryan) Sherbondy is from Clan L, on this chart: Clan Chart. James was born in 1920 and is in Generation Four, son of Stirl Audry and Nannie Alice Sherbondy. In the book, his parents are referred to as Father and Mother, and his brothers’ names were changed to protect their rights to privacy while living. They have all now passed away. Jim had no children. The thoughts and states of mind of Jim Sherbondy are those of the author, but are based upon the impressions of those who knew him and upon the considerable psychiatric and psychological data supplied to the author by the Colorado State Penitentiary. The statements and thoughts attributed to living persons at the time are solely those of the author. Jim is described as an extremely intelligent individual who had some unfortunate experiences at a young age that changed the trajectory of his life.
