Edward M. Sherbondy (b 1872, Clan L) was the proprietor of Sherbondy’s Landing on Yellow Creek Lake providing boats, bait, groceries, cold drinks, tobacco, fishing licenses and free picnic and camping facilities in Claypool, Indiana from about 1933 to 1935. Attached is a PDF with an ad and more information from a publication in 1933. Also are two postcards with 2 different photos, one mailed in 1933 and another mailed in 1935. Ed passed away in January, 1935.

Sherbondy Point subdivision is a single lot on Sylvan Lake in Rome City, Indiana and appears in a local government document Rome City Plan Commission minutes, which combines lots of Craig Sherbondy (Clan L) in March, 2023.
Sherbondy Park subdivision in Rome City, Indiana is associated with this property. It appears on some lots adjacent to Sherbondy Point. John Sherbondy (Clan L, b 1836) owned land in this area in 1866 next to land owned by his in-laws, Jacob and John Singer. John Sherbondy may have sold his land to his brother Abe or nephew William who passed it down (via Harold) to Tom Sherbondy and his son Craig.
